Arabic and English websites for Abu Dhabi firms, designed and built in code
I'm Maniruzzaman Jubayer, a design engineer working with Abu Dhabi companies from Dhaka, two hours ahead of you. I design your company website in Arabic and English and build it in code myself, so the Arabic pages, the consent on every form and the speed on a phone are planned from the first sketch rather than patched after launch. Whether you are licensed in ADGM, based onshore in the emirate or growing out of Hub71, the site comes with a CMS your staff run in both languages, and my hours cover 8 hours of your working day.

Web design in Abu Dhabi: four things that go wrong, and how I prevent them
TAMM now brings more than 1,200 public and private sector services into one platform, the Department of Government Enablement said in October 2026. People used to services that work as clearly in Arabic as in English expect the same from a company website. These are the gaps I find most often when an Abu Dhabi firm asks me to look at its site.
The English site is designed, approved and built, then the Arabic copy is poured into the same layout a month later. Headings break, arrows point the wrong way and numbers sit oddly in mixed lines. I draw every template in both directions at once, so the Arabic page is designed rather than converted.
A new permit number on a listing, a revised fund factsheet or Ramadan hours for a clinic should take minutes, yet on many Abu Dhabi sites it means a ticket to an outside developer. I build the CMS around the content your staff actually change, with paired Arabic and English fields, and train them on it.
A procurement officer checks your trade licence and Arabic contact details, an investor in London looks for your ADGM licence, and a resident wants to book. I map what each of them came to find and make sure every one reaches it within a click or two of the first screen, in Arabic or English.
A company in ADGM answers to the ADGM Data Protection Regulations 2021, an onshore one to the federal PDPL, and a group with both must know which form sits under which. I write the rules that apply into the scope before design starts, so consent and disclosures are designed in, not bolted on.
Websites and products I designed that suit Abu Dhabi
AQARI, an Arabic-first property investment web app with full right to left layouts and an English twin, then a law firm website, a real estate landing page and a fintech SaaS website. Property and finance are also where Abu Dhabi adds its own rules: a Madhmoun permit for property ads, and FSRA conduct rules for firms in ADGM.

Arabic pages that read like a translation? Let's design them as originals.
Marhaba, let's talkWhat every Abu Dhabi website I design and build includes
The written scope names each item below, page by page and language by language, so you can check the finished site against it line by line.
- 01
Arabic designed as a first language
Templates drawn right to left and left to right at the same time, with direction set on the html element as the W3C advises, Arabic type sized for long reading, and Arabic, Latin and digits tested together in one line.
- 02
Bilingual URLs Google can read
Paths such as /ar/ and /en/, a sitemap for each, and hreflang on every page naming itself, its partner and an x-default, with links back both ways so Google does not discard them.
- 03
Consent built for your jurisdiction
Forms and cookie choices designed to the ADGM Data Protection Regulations 2021 if you are licensed there, or to the federal PDPL if you are onshore, with refusing as easy as accepting and privacy pages in both languages.
- 04
Dirham amounts that display properly
Where your pages show amounts, a type and fallback plan for the new UAE dirham sign, U+20C3 in Unicode 18.0, so figures render cleanly while phones, fonts and keyboards catch up.
- 05
A CMS shaped around your content
Collections built for what you publish, whether services, people, listings, funds or doctors. Each entry pairs its Arabic and English fields, previews both directions and respects editor roles; a written guide and a live session come with it.
- 06
Accessible and quick on a phone
WCAG 2.2 AA checks in both languages, above the 2.1 AA level the national policy sets for public service sites, and pages aimed at a Largest Contentful Paint of 2.5 seconds or less on mobile data.
From first call to launch: an Abu Dhabi website in four steps
My website design process in four steps, timed to Gulf Standard Time and to the sign-offs an Abu Dhabi site usually needs: Arabic copy, legal and, for licensed firms, compliance.
- 01
Free 30 minute intro call
A Google Meet call booked in Abu Dhabi time. Show me the site you have, which pages bring in leads and who approves Arabic and legal wording, and you get a straight answer on whether to rebuild or fix less.
- 02
Written scope and one fixed quote
One document lists every template in Arabic and English, the CMS, forms and consent, integrations, the rules attached to your licence and the number of review rounds, with one fixed quote for the whole site and no retainer after it.
- 03
Weekly sprints on a staging site
The Arabic and English templates are designed as a pair, then built on a staging link; your reviewers leave comments on live pages in both directions instead of on screenshots.
- 04
Launch, redirects and handover
Old URLs redirected one by one, hreflang and Core Web Vitals tested, analytics held until a visitor consents, then a handover session after which your editors run both languages without me.
Working with me from Abu Dhabi: hours, days and tools
- Time zones
- Abu Dhabi is on Gulf Standard Time (UTC+4) and the clock in Dhaka runs two hours ahead, which leaves 8 hours of your working day in common
- Week
- federal government offices in the UAE open Monday and close at noon on Friday; my weekend is Friday and Saturday, so Monday to Thursday is fully shared
- Language
- every call in English, while the site itself is written in Arabic and English and an Arabic speaker you choose approves each word
- Platforms
- Next.js with a headless CMS, Webflow or Framer, picked for the people who will edit the site
- Channels
- video calls on Google Meet, one Slack channel for daily questions and notes left directly on the staging pages
How I work with Abu Dhabi teams
I work remotely from Dhaka during most of your day, and every decision ends up in writing.
We can talk now
Your day My day Shared
- 01
One person from sketch to deploy
I draw the templates and write the code, so a design decision is never lost between a designer and a separate developer. Your Arabic reviewer joins whenever wording is under discussion.
- 02
Dhaka is two hours ahead of you
My day starts two hours before yours and still covers 8 hours of it. Friday is my day off, so launches are planned for Monday to Thursday, or Friday cover is agreed in writing in the scope.
- 03
Decisions kept in writing
Figma for design, a staging link for the build and a decision log for the reasons. Every 48 hours a written update lands in Slack, and once a week a review call keeps legal, marketing and leadership looking at one version.
- 04
Familiar with the capital's rulebooks
The ADGM Data Protection Regulations 2021 and the federal PDPL, Madhmoun ad permits, FSRA conduct rules, the national accessibility policy and right to left layout. The Arabic side is set out step by step in my guide to Arabic RTL design for the UAE.
Abu Dhabi sectors, and what each one's website has to carry
Six fields with their own website rules or expectations in the capital. The pictures come from my own work in each field; none of them shows an Abu Dhabi client.

Real estate
Since 7 July 2025 the Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre has required a Madhmoun permit before any property ad runs in the emirate, and ADGM issues its own permits for Al Maryah and Al Reem islands. So the CMS should refuse to publish a listing until its permit is entered, and offer enquiry in either language.
My real estate work →
Asset managers and fintech in ADGM
ADGM counted 190 fund and asset managers in the first half of 2026, up from 154 a year earlier. FSRA rules ask firms to take reasonable steps to keep their communications clear, fair and not misleading, so disclosures belong inside the templates.
My fintech work →
Clinics and hospitals
Abu Dhabi's health insurance law, Law No. 23 of 2005, makes employers and sponsors insure the people they employ or sponsor, so accepted plans belong on clinic pages. The Department of Health also runs its own health advertisement service, so medical copy needs a review step.
My healthcare work →
Startups from Hub71
Hub71 received more than 5,000 applications in 2025 and admitted 52 startups, its June 2026 report says. A young company landing in Abu Dhabi needs a site that explains its product to Gulf buyers and investors meeting it for the first time.

Hotels and tourism
Abu Dhabi welcomed a record 26.6 million visitors in 2025, according to DCT Abu Dhabi. Hotel, attraction and tour sites need booking paths, seasonal offers and maps that work as well in Arabic as in English.

Law firms and corporate advisers
Active licences in ADGM reached 13,974 in the first half of 2026. The lawyers, auditors and corporate service providers who serve those companies need practice pages and partner profiles that are as precise in Arabic as in English.
Who I design websites for in Abu Dhabi
Organisations in the capital whose website has to be right in two languages and under more than one rulebook.
That sounds like you?
Companies with a thin Arabic site
The English version is complete, the Arabic one covers half the pages or reads like a machine translation. I rebuild the site so both languages share one content model and launch on the same day.

Talk it through on a free callThree routes to an Abu Dhabi company website: me, a hire on staff or a web studio
All three can produce a good site. This is how they differ for a two-language company site with a CMS and a regulator reading over your shoulder.
| What you get | With me | In-house hire | Web studio |
|---|---|---|---|
| Both languages designed side by side from the first sprint | Yes | Sometimes | Sometimes |
| The person who designs the site also writes its code | Yes | No | No |
| Consent mapped to ADGM or federal law in the scope | Yes | Sometimes | Sometimes |
| Work starts within days, with no hiring or visa process | Yes | No | Yes |
| Search set-up, redirects and page speed tested before go-live | Yes | Sometimes | Yes |
| Meets you in person in Abu Dhabi | No | Yes | Sometimes |
| A single fixed quote for the whole site, agreed up front | Yes | No | Sometimes |
What clients say about working with me
Other work I take on for Abu Dhabi companies
A website is often the first piece; a client portal, an app or campaign pages tend to follow.

Web design in Abu Dhabi: questions I am asked before a project starts
Plain answers to the questions Abu Dhabi marketing, legal and founding teams raise most.
- No. I work remotely from Dhaka as a design engineer; there is no UAE-registered company and no Abu Dhabi office behind me. You deal with me from brief to launch: I design the pages, write the code and ship both languages, so no hand-off between a designer and a developer can lose detail.
- It depends on scope rather than an hourly rate: how many unique templates the site needs, whether Arabic and English are both designed, who writes the copy, the CMS, integrations such as a CRM or booking system, and what your regulator adds. The free intro call comes first, then a written scope and one fixed quote covering the entire site; nothing is billed by the hour and no retainer follows.
- Usually the ADGM Data Protection Regulations 2021, which ADGM enacted on 14 February 2021 after benchmarking them against the EU's GDPR, rather than the federal PDPL that covers most onshore companies. Groups with entities on both sides may need two consent texts. I design forms and the cookie banner so refusing is as easy as accepting; your legal adviser confirms the law and the wording. My notes on PDPL consent design go further.
- For businesses selling to consumers, the federal Consumer Protection Law, Federal Law No. 15 of 2020, requires consumer data, advertisements and contracts in Arabic, with other languages allowed alongside, and asks UAE-registered online sellers for adequate product information in Arabic. Business to business sites have more freedom, yet Arabic still matters to government and semi-government buyers. Your lawyer confirms what applies to you.
- Yes, if your site has an account area. UAE PASS is the national digital identity, and the UAE Government portal says it is used for government, semi-government and private sector services, banks among them. Integration runs through the UAE PASS developer process, and I design the sign-in, consent and fallback screens around it. My UAE PASS sign-in guide walks through the flow.
- The UAE dirham sign is U+20C3 in Unicode 18.0, released on 16 September 2026. Fonts and keyboards will take time to support it, so I plan amounts with a tested fallback, such as a font that already carries the sign or an inline SVG, and keep the AED code available for screen readers and older phones.
- A Madhmoun permit from the Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre, mandatory for every property ad in the emirate since 7 July 2025, while listings on Al Maryah and Al Reem islands go through ADGM's own advertising permit. I make the permit a required CMS field on each listing, so nothing publishes without it. My post on real estate websites and Trakheesi covers the Dubai equivalent, and real estate has the wider picture.
- It can, when the Arabic pages are written for Arabic searches rather than translated keyword lists, sit at their own URLs and carry hreflang pointing both ways. I set up the structure, titles and internal links in both languages, and my guide to Arabic SEO for UAE websites explains the method step by step.
- Yes. Dubai brings different rules, from Trakheesi property permits to the DIFC data law, so it has a page of its own: website design in Dubai. Many groups run entities in both emirates, and one bilingual site can serve both, with separate legal pages wherever the rules differ.
