What makes product design in Dubai hard
The UAE rewards polished products and punishes anything that feels translated. These are the problems I see most.
Problem 01
Arabic feels bolted on
The product was designed in English first. In Arabic the layout breaks, icons point the wrong way and numbers jump around.
Problem 02
Your users expect global polish
People in Dubai use the best apps in the world every day. A dated flow or a clumsy form loses them in seconds.
Problem 03
Trust has to be designed in
Identity checks, payments and consent are where fintech and proptech products win or lose people, and they are rarely designed with care.
Problem 04
Senior local talent is hard to book
Good product designers in Dubai are in demand, so local teams are expensive, busy, or staffed with whoever is free.
What you get when I design your UAE product
One senior team for research, interface and system, built for two languages from the first screen.
A bilingual design system
Components that mirror cleanly from left to right to right to left, with Arabic type tested at every size.
RTL layouts that read naturally
Navigation, icons, charts and numbers placed the way Arabic readers expect. Your native speakers or translator check the words.
Onboarding and identity flows
Sign up, identity checks and first value designed to feel quick and safe, for regulated and unregulated products alike.
Checkout and payment UX
Cards, Apple Pay and buy now, pay later steps that look familiar to UAE shoppers.
Consent and privacy screens
Clear choices about data, designed to support your UAE PDPL obligations. Your legal team signs off the wording.
Handoff, or the build itself
Specs and a walkthrough for your developers, or the front end in React and Next.js by the same team.

What founders say about working with me
Working with Jubayer and the team has been a blast. Their creativity has honestly taken our platform to new heights. Incredibly professional and so proud to work with, we’re over the moon with their results, and we can’t wait to team up with them again.

It’s great that I can work with just Wolfpixel to get every aspect of what I need completed.

I highly recommend Jubayer for any design project. He quickly grasps complex concepts, excels in standard design practices, and responds promptly.

Working with Jubayer on our website was fantastic from start to finish. He took the time to understand our vision and provided valuable insights.

How much does UI/UX design cost in Dubai?
I start every project with a $1,500 trial week, AED 5,510, on a real piece of your product. At the end you get a written scope and one fixed quote for the rest, so you never pay by the hour or guess the final bill.
Can you design Arabic and right-to-left interfaces?
Yes. I design bilingual products with a design system that mirrors from left to right to right to left, and I test Arabic type, numbers and mixed text on real screens. Your native speakers or translator own the Arabic words; I make sure the layout carries them well.
Do you work in Dubai hours?
Mostly, yes. Dhaka is two hours ahead of Dubai, so my day covers 8 hours of yours. Calls are booked in your time zone, and you get written updates in Slack every 48 hours.
Do you design for fintech and other regulated products?
Yes. Much of my work is fintech and proptech, where onboarding, identity checks and consent decide whether people stay. I design those flows to support your compliance needs; your legal and compliance teams make the final call on wording.
Do we need to meet in person?
No. My projects run remotely from the first call to the handoff, with shared Figma files, weekly calls and short recorded walkthroughs. The trial week shows you how that feels before you commit to more.
Can you work with our in-house developers?
Yes. We hand over a documented design system with specs and walk your developers through it. If you prefer, the same team can build the front end in React and Next.js.
Do you design sign-in with UAE Pass?
Yes. I design sign-up and log-in journeys around national digital identity such as UAE Pass, so people can verify themselves quickly and safely. The integration itself runs through your identity provider.
How do we start a project?
Book a free 30 minute call in Dubai time. We pick the one flow that matters most for your UAE launch, often onboarding or checkout, and the trial week can usually start the same week.
