A SaaS product lives or dies on the second visit. People sign up on the promise of the website, then come back only if the product makes their daily work easier. That is why this list mixes product work and marketing work: the same thinking runs through both. Say clearly what it does, show the real product, and make the first useful action obvious.
For the product, I map the roles and their daily jobs first, then design one pattern the whole app repeats, so people learn it once. For the website, I lead with the product itself: real screens, not stock illustrations, and a clear path to a trial or a demo. Both sides share one design system, so the product looks like what the website promised. For more, see my SaaS product design page.
The users and their jobs, the information architecture, the main dashboard and the screens behind it, and the design system. The best ones also show the states real data creates: empty accounts, long lists and errors.
Yes. Core.hr, Wave and the fintech SaaS website are product websites, FundFlo and the AI analysis page are landing pages, and FleetPulse had both the dashboard and its landing page.
